Senegal’s women’s national team coach, Mame Moussa Cissé, has announced his 23-player squad for the upcoming friendly matches against Ghana, with notable returns for Mbayang Sow, Korka Fall, and Haby Baldé.
The two matches, scheduled for April 5 and 8 in Thiès, serve as part of Senegal’s preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Among those making a comeback is national team captain Korka Fall, who missed the previous call-up in February due to an administrative issue.
Her inclusion marks a significant boost for the squad as they fine-tune their preparations ahead of the continental tournament.
In addition to Fall, defender Mbayang Sow, who has been sidelined for months due to injury, is also set to make her return.
Winger Haby Baldé has likewise been recalled, further strengthening Senegal’s attacking options.
With just over three months until the Africa Cup of Nations, these friendlies will provide a crucial opportunity for the squad to build cohesion.
