Senegal goalkeeper Bingourou Kamara has shared his excitement after securing a move to newly promoted French Ligue 1 club, FC Lorient in the ongoing transfer window.
The 28-year-old shot stopper joins FC Lorient as a free agent following his departure from FC Pau at the expiration of his contract at the end of last season.
Kamara penned a two-year deal with Lorient and is expected to play a huge role for the club as they seeks to make impact in the league.
“It is with great joy and pleasure that I join FC Lorient today, a club that has had some very good goalkeepers in the past. Joining this lineage is a real source of pride and I hope to bring my experience to this group“, said Lorient’s newest recruit.
Lorient, who are seeking to maintain their status in the top-flight are executing an aggressive effort to bolster their squad for the upcoming football campaign.
Kamara was among the best Ligue 2 goalkeepers last season with the Palois side. The Senegalese is making a return to Ligue 1 after previous spells in Strasbourg and Montpellier.
