Senegal has confirmed its participation in the upcoming UEMOA (West African Economic and Monetary Union) tournament, scheduled to take place from October 26 to November 2, 2013. Coaches Joseph Koto and Malick Daff, overseeing the local selection, have called up a squad of 28 players who will commence training at the Léopold Sendar Senghor Stadium in Dakar starting this Thursday, with the training concluding on October 14.
The majority of the preselected players are from the under-20 team, which secured a bronze medal in the recent Francophonie Games held in Nice.
