Nigerian forward Moses Ebiye has inked a deal with Scottish Premier League side Motherwell FC, extending until the summer of 2025, according to AfricaSoccer.com.

Ebiye, previously with Norway’s Aalesund, left the club in January, marking a transition to Scottish football.

The 26-year-old’s journey includes stints with Akwa United in Nigeria, Lillestrøm, HamKam, and Tromsø in Norway, amassing an impressive goal tally of 19 in the Norwegian top flight.

Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell expressed satisfaction with the acquisition, highlighting the diligent efforts of the club’s behind-the-scenes team.

Kettlewell emphasized the anticipation surrounding Ebiye’s goal-scoring prowess, considering his notable achievements in Norway.

Ebiye, pleased to join the club, shared his excitement about training and integrating with the team, aiming to make a meaningful impact during his tenure.

The striker’s proven track record, coupled with the club’s enthusiasm, sets the stage for an intriguing chapter as Ebiye embarks on this new footballing venture in Scotland, pending international clearance.
