SCC Berlin add Berlin-born centre-forward Nii Weber after free move
German-Ghanaian striker Nii Weber has joined SCC Berlin from FC Wilmersdorf on a free transfer, completing a move between two Berlin-Liga clubs.
The 28-year-old centre-forward switches clubs after his spell with FC Wilmersdorf and becomes part of the SCC Berlin squad following the transfer completed on 19 August 2026. Both clubs compete in the Berlin-Liga, making the move a change of team within the same division rather than a step into a different league.
Weber was born in Berlin on 7 August 1998 and holds German and Ghanaian nationality. He stands 1.84m tall and operates primarily through the middle as a centre-forward, with his right foot listed as his preferred foot.
His arrival gives SCC Berlin an established option in the central attacking position as the club adds a player with experience of Berlin football. Weber’s previous club, FC Wilmersdorf, also plays in the capital’s regional competition, ensuring continuity in the level at which he will compete.
The transfer brings together a locally born player and a club from the same city. Weber’s move from FC Wilmersdorf to SCC Berlin was registered on 19 August, with the switch taking place without a transfer fee.
Weber’s current value is not stated, while his highest recorded market value was €50,000. That figure provides historical context to his career but does not alter the terms of his move to SCC Berlin.
SCC Berlin have now secured the services of Weber, who joins the club as a German-Ghanaian centre-forward after leaving FC Wilmersdorf.
