Sayed Abdel Hafez, the former football director of Al Ahly Club, commented on the transfers made by Zamalek to strengthen the first football team during the ongoing winter transfer window.
In a television statement on MBC Egypt, Abdel Hafez said, “The positive thing about Zamalek’s transfers is that they were conducted quietly without any noise or high-profile drama.
There is an administration that works and provides a healthy atmosphere for the team.”
He added, “The results will determine whether the transfers are successful or not.
Some players deliver outstanding performances with their clubs, but after moving to Zamalek or Al Ahly, they show a lower level due to the pressure from the fans.”
In the past few hours, Zamalek has successfully secured 10 significant transfers to reinforce the football team during the winter transfer window.
The club lifted the registration suspension, leading to the signings of Abdullah El Said, Saif Farouk Jafar, Mahab Yasser, Nasser Maher, Mohamed Atef, Mohamed Shawat, Palestinian defender Yasser Hamad, Ugandan winger Travis Mutyaba (under the age of 23), Ziyad Kamal, and Ahmed Hamdi.
