Saudi Arabia outfit Neom SC are plotting an ambitious swoop to acquire the services of Franco-Ivorian defender Ismaël Doukouré in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old centre-back, who plies his trade for French outfit Strasbourg has emerged as a priority target for the new promoted Saudi Pro League outfit.
Neom SC are executing an aggressive recruitment effort this summer, with their defense being the next priority area.
In the bid to bolster their defense, Neom SC have targeted the young Strasbourg defender. Doukouré played an important role for Strasbourg squad last season, making 31 appearances across competitions as the Racing Club qualified for the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Doukouré is not the only defender that Neom are targeting this summer. The Saudi outfit have also expressed an interest in signing Axel Disasi (27) from Chelsea.
With his contract set to expire in 2026 summer, Strasbourg could cash in on the defender to avoid losing him for free.
Despite representing France at the youth level, the talented defender remains eligible to switch allegiance to the Ivory Coast.
