Al Hilal are determined to secure the services of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.
The Saudi Pro League giants are seeking to bolster their squad for the impending Club World Cup tournament to be staged in the USA next month, with Osimhen emerging as a top target for the club.
In an attempt to make a meaningful impact at the tournament, Al Hilal have targeted Osimhen as key summer reinforcement.
Osimhen is leaving Napoli despite having a running contract with the reigning Serie A champions.
Al Hilal are set to open talks with Napoli over a potential transfer in the coming days as the Saudi giants aims to secure Osimhen’s contract before the start of the Club World Cup.
Per reports, a three-year contract has already been offered to the Nigerian international striker. If Osimhen accepted the deal offered to him, he would be set to earn an eye-watering €120m during the contract.
Al-Hilal are not the only club interested in Osimhen, with Juventus expressing interest in signing the 26-year-old.
However, the Saudi club are pushing to secure the services of the Galatasaray loanee and have the advantage of the window opening early before the Club World Cup.
