Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal are tempting Nigeria international Victor Osimhen with a 45 million euros annual wages to secure his services.
Osimhen is set for a permanent departure from Italian outfit Napoli heading into the summer transfer window. With a permanent move to Galatasaray looking impossible, a couple of clubs in Europe have expressed interest in the forward.
The 26-year-old Nigeria striker had an incredible loan spell with Galatasaray, racking up 36 goals and 8 assists in 40 games across competitions in the recently concluded season. He was outstanding in the club’s success in the Turkish League campaign.
According to reports, Al Hilal have entered into talks to secure the signature of the highly-profiled Nigeria striker.
The Saudi outfit have offered Osimhen a three-year deal, with an annual salary of 45 million euros. It is said Osimhen is open to moving to the Golf State this summer.
Osimhen was reportedly part of a four-man shortlist, with Liam Delap, Moïse Kean and Victor Gyökeres to bolster Manchester United’s ailing attack. It is no secret by now that the Red Devils intend to cut their losses on Rasmus Højlund following his €74m switch from Atalanta Bergamo two years ago.
With no contact from Manchester United, the forward could look elsewhere as he aim to secure his future as soon as possible.
