Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal have opened talks with Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, hoping to secure his signing this summer.

The Nigerian striker, who has been a central figure at Napoli over recent seasons, is understood to have received a formal offer from Al-Hilal amounting to €100 million over three years.

However, sources indicate that Osimhen and his representatives are holding out for significantly improved personal terms if the move is to progress.

Negotiations between the two parties are reported to have commenced on Thursday, May 22.

The striker’s salary demand of €45 million per year would raise the overall cost of the deal substantially beyond Al-Hilal’s current offer.

The Saudi club has opened talks with the Super Eagles sensation and is hoping to reach a deal with the forward as soon as possible.

As things stand now, Victor Osimhen has the advantage and will assess all his options before deciding the best move for his future in the off-season.

He is a transfer target of top European clubs including Juventus and Arsenal.
