Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal have ended their pursuit of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen in the ongoing transfer window.
After a strenuous attempts that lasted for more than a month, the Saudi giants has withdrawn from the race to sign the enterprising attacker.
Osimhen is set for a permanent departure from parent club, Galatasaray this summer, with a host of clubs expressing interest in the forward.
With Osimhen turning down several offers from the Saudi giants over the past period including an annual salary of €50 million, the club has decided to move on, turning attention to other options.
The Nigeria international is keen to return to Galatasaray, where he played on loan for the last season and excelled as one of the league’s top stars.
Galatasaray initially submitted an initial €55 million bid to sign Osimhen from Napoli. However, the offer was turned down by the Italian giants as they demand for more.
Pending agreement between the Turkish club and Napoli, Osimhen will secure a permanent move to Galatasaray ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign.
Considered as one of the top scorer across the globe, the Nigeria international will be a great addition to the Galatasaray squad as they gear up for the new season including the Champions League.
