Liverpool target Bazoumana Touré to bolster attack after Salah exit
Liverpool are exploring options to strengthen their attack after Mohamed Salah confirmed he will leave the club at the end of the season, with young Ivorian winger Bazoumana Touré emerging as a potential target.
The Premier League club, aiming to refresh their forward line, have reportedly been impressed by Touré’s performances for TSG Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.
Scouts attended matches last month and were reportedly drawn to his pace, technical skill, and ability to drive play down the left flank.
Touré, 20, has contributed two goals and 11 assists in 24 appearances this season, highlighting his attacking potential.
Having previously played for Hammarby, the Ivorian is under contract with Hoffenheim until June 2029 and is valued at €35 million.
He currently earns around €840,000 annually in Germany.
Despite Liverpool’s interest, the club will face significant competition for the winger’s signature.
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are reportedly monitoring him, alongside several Premier League sides, including Manchester United, Arsenal, Everton, Bournemouth, and Leeds United.
The signing of Touré would form part of Liverpool’s broader strategy to rejuvenate their attacking options following Salah’s departure, while also securing a promising long-term investment for the club.
With multiple clubs tracking the young winger, Liverpool will need to act decisively to secure his services ahead of next season.
