However, he recognizes the challenge of matching the Swedish star’s goal tally by the end of the season. Despite other formidable strikers like Cavani and Falcao, the Ivorian player, currently with Lille, predicts that Ibrahimovic will finish as the top scorer, just as he did last season.
Kalou expressed his admiration for Ibrahimovic and sees him as a role model, stating, “I’m not surprised. They are great scorers, world-class. They just need one chance to score. With Ibra, they are models for me, examples.”
When asked about his favorite for the title of top scorer in Ligue 1 this season, Kalou mentioned that he is torn between Ibrahimovic and Cavani. However, he leans towards Ibrahimovic, highlighting the Swede’s ability to create chances and expressing confidence that, once he regains his effectiveness, Ibrahimovic will score prolifically.
