Saïd Benrahma delivered another standout performance for NEOM SC, scoring a spectacular goal and providing an assist in the club’s commanding 3-0 victory over Al Adallah, just one match before the end of the Saudi second division season.

With promotion to the Saudi Pro League already secured and the championship title wrapped up, NEOM SC continued their unbeaten run in style. Facing Al Adallah—a side still in contention for a promotion play-off place—NEOM showed no signs of complacency. The match, held away from home, saw Benrahma play a central role in dismantling the opposition.

The Algerian international broke the deadlock in the 36th minute. After a swift move down the left flank, Benrahma initiated a quick one-two with a teammate before curling a sublime right-footed effort into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper rooted to the spot.

The goal was a testament to his flair and composure, and further evidence of the quality that has defined his season.

Benrahma, who joined NEOM SC earlier this season, has consistently been one of the club’s most influential figures, both in terms of leadership and attacking output.

His latest contribution takes his tally to nine goals and 14 assists in the league, underlining his importance in NEOM’s title-winning campaign.

In the second half, it was Senegalese striker Mbaye Diagne who added to the scoreline, twice finding the net with precise headers. His first came from a well-executed team move, while his second—NEOM’s third of the night—was a direct result of Benrahma’s accuracy from the corner flag in the 83rd minute.

Despite Al Adallah’s urgent need for points in their own pursuit of promotion, they struggled to match the intensity and technical superiority of the visitors.

NEOM controlled the rhythm of the game from start to finish, offering few opportunities to their hosts and executing their own attacks with clinical precision.

Benrahma’s resurgence in Saudi Arabia has drawn attention from across the region, and his influence has been central to NEOM’s success this season.

His ability to both score and create has elevated the team’s offensive dynamics and added a level of professionalism to their forward play.

The match not only reinforced NEOM SC’s dominance in the division but also sent a clear message to future top-flight opponents.

Even with their objectives already achieved, the team maintained high standards—something that manager and fans alike will be keen to see continue in the top tier.

As the season draws to a close, NEOM SC will approach their final fixture with confidence, and with players like Benrahma in such electric form, they will likely look to finish the campaign on an equally strong note.

For Al Adallah, the defeat complicates their hopes of reaching the promotion play-offs, and they now face a tense end to their own campaign.

Benrahma’s latest display has only strengthened his growing reputation in Saudi football—one that looks set to flourish further when he steps onto the Pro League stage next season.
