FC Bayern Munich star Sacha Boey is on the road to recovery after suffering a serious ankle ligament injury in mid-December.
The injury forced the French-Cameroonian defender to watch from the stands on crutches during Bayern’s match against RB Leipzig. But Boey is determined to return to full fitness as quickly as possible.
Though Coach Vincent Kompany granted his players a well-deserved day off following Bayern’s dominant 6-0 win over RB Salzburg in a friendly, Boey was one of the few to remain at Säbener Strasse. There, he completed his first running session, focusing on strengthening his muscles and preparing for the next phase of his recovery.
Born in France to Cameroonian parents, Boey has represented France at youth levels, including the under-17, under-18, and under-20 teams. He is eligible to play for either France or Cameroon, adding another layer of intrigue to his future international career once he regains full fitness.
