Boey’s journey with Bayern has had its ups and downs since joining from Galatasaray in January 2024. In his limited appearances, Boey has shown promise, recording an assist in the Bundesliga this season. His debut came in February 2024, when he replaced Noussair Mazraoui in a 3-1 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach.
After a hamstring injury and a torn muscle cut his season short, Boey made an impactful return this season with an assist to Jamal Musiala in Bayern’s opening match.
