Olympique de Marseille’s defender, Souleymane Diawara, expressed his opinion on Yann M’vila’s suspension, believing that the decision of the French Football Federation is “exaggerated.” Diawara thinks that M’vila has already paid a significant price for his actions and that the extended suspension is unnecessary. He also defended the need for players to have a personal life, saying, “I’m a bon vivant, I need that. We are human beings, like everyone else… We are not priests. We need to evacuate…”
Regarding his own situation, Diawara, who has recovered from a ruptured cruciate ligament, acknowledged that he has always been second choice but is determined to work hard to earn his place in the team.
