The Moroccan Professional Football League (LFP) has announced that RS Berkane will be officially crowned league champions on Wednesday, July 23, in a special ceremony organised to celebrate the club’s historic first-ever title triumph.
Despite securing the league title back in March, RS Berkane is yet to hold a formal trophy presentation.
The team will also be awarded gold medals and a cash prize of $800,000.

Meanwhile, the LFP has also confirmed that the draw for the upcoming Moroccan league season will take place on Friday, July 19, as preparations intensify for the competition’s return in the third week of August.
League officials have indicated that the new season will feature an “exceptional” calendar, taking into account Morocco’s participation in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals and the country’s preparations to host the Africa Cup of Nations later this year.
Meanwhile, RS Berkane will face Pyramids FC in the CAF Super Cup clash.
