RS Berkane booked their place in the Throne Cup quarterfinals after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Ittihad Tangier on Thursday.

Playing at the Sports Village Stadium in Tangier, Berkane took the lead in the first half through Osama Al-Miliwi’s decisive goal.

His strike proved to be the difference as the visitors held firm despite facing adversity.

Berkane was reduced to 10 men in the 57th minute after Al-Miliwi received a red card, forcing them to play the remainder of the match with a numerical disadvantage.

However, they managed to withstand Tangier’s relentless pressure and maintain their narrow lead until the final whistle.

This victory not only secures Berkane’s spot in the last eight of the competition but also adds to their remarkable season, having already clinched the Moroccan league title with five rounds to spare.
