Royal Antwerp have officially confirmed the signings of Nigerian youngsters Orseer Achihi and Gabriel Jesus David, as the Belgian club bolsters its squad with promising talents.
The Pro League outfit announced the double acquisition through its social media channels, securing Achihi on a long-term deal while David arrives on a loan arrangement.
Achihi, an 18-year-old winger, has signed a five-year contract with Antwerp. The highly-rated prospect will look to make an impression as he embarks on his first venture in European football.
Meanwhile, forward Gabriel Jesus David, also 18, joins the club on loan until the end of the season, with an option to make the move permanent.
The temporary deal provides the attacker an opportunity to showcase his abilities and earn a long-term stay at the Bosuilstadion.
Both players will now look to integrate into the squad and adapt to the demands of Belgian football, with Antwerp hoping their arrivals can inject youthful energy into the team.
The signings are seen as part of Royal Antwerp’s strategy to rejuvenate the squad and identify emerging talent for future development.
