Rowan Elaraby wins Nash Squash 2026 title for first major success since 2022

Rowan Elaraby claimed the Nash Squash 2026 title in London to secure her first championship since 2022.

The Wadi Degla player defeated Malaysia’s Yasshmita Jadishkumar in the final, recovering from losing the opening game to complete a 3-1 victory.

Jadishkumar took the first game 11-9, but Elaraby responded by winning the second by the same score. She then moved ahead with an 11-3 victory in the third game before sealing the title 11-4 in the fourth.

The final lasted 39 minutes.

The tournament’s total prize fund is $67,500, with $33,750 allocated to the men’s event and the same amount to the women’s competition.

The victory made 26-year-old Elaraby the second Egyptian player to win the title, following Kenzy El Defrawy’s success in 2014.
