Ivory Coast midfielder Romeo Amane is being linked with a move from Rapid Vienna to Belgian club Club Brugge.

Amane, 23, has started the 2026-27 season with three Bundesliga appearances for Rapid, providing one assist. He has also featured four times in Conference League qualifying, starting 67% of those matches and playing 60% of the available minutes.

The central midfielder joined Rapid from Swedish side BK Hacken in January 2025 for €1.3m. He had previously helped Hacken win the Swedish title in 2022 and the Swedish Cup in 2023 and 2025.

Amane’s current contract with Rapid runs until 30 June 2029, while his market value is listed at €5m. The reported interest from Club Brugge would take him from Austria’s Bundesliga to the Jupiler Pro League.

Born in Abidjan, Amane developed at Mimosas Under-19 before moving to Sweden in 2021. He has remained with Rapid since his move to Vienna and is currently part of the club’s midfield group, having appeared in both domestic league and European competition this season.
