Rodri makes understated England return as Barcelona transfer talks with Manchester City continue

Cameras operated by Jijantes captured Rodri arriving in Liverpool, a city approximately 50 kilometres from Manchester. The player did not speak to the media after reaching England.

Rodri had spent a significant part of his holiday in Spain after winning the World Cup. His arrival in England means he is set to rejoin Manchester City’s training schedule while the discussions about his future continue.

Barcelona want to complete the transfer as quickly as possible, but Manchester City are also seeking to secure the best possible financial return from the deal. Although the gap between the two clubs has narrowed, negotiations have not yet reached a final agreement.

Manchester City are seeking approximately 70 million euros in guaranteed fee. Barcelona’s latest proposal was worth 65 million euros, including add-ons.
