Robinio Vaz transfer: Hull City step up interest in Roma’s €18m-rated striker
French-Guinea-Bissauan forward Robinio Vaz is the subject of a reported move from Roma to Hull City, with the Premier League club linked with a transfer for the 19-year-old.
Vaz joined Roma from Marseille in January 2026 for a reported €22m and remains under contract with the Italian club until June 2030. His current market value is listed at €18m.
The centre-forward has yet to make an appearance for Roma in Serie A this season, having been involved in two possible league matches without playing. He has also not recorded a goal or assist during the campaign.
Vaz began his senior career with Marseille after progressing through the youth system at Sochaux. His move to Roma came less than a year after he joined Marseille’s first team from the club’s reserve side.
Hull City’s interest comes as the English club is linked with a forward who has made a significant move early in his career, but there has been no confirmation that an agreement has been reached between the clubs.
Vaz was born in Mantes-la-Jolie and holds French and Guinea-Bissauan nationality. He stands 1.85m tall and plays as a right-footed centre-forward.
Roma’s long-term commitment to the player means any deal would likely involve negotiations over a transfer fee rather than a free move, with his contract running through the end of the 2029-30 season.
