Dr. Okey Kpalukwu, the General Manager of Rivers United, has expressed the club’s ambition to establish itself as a dominant force, not just in Nigerian football but across the African continent.
Dr. Kpalukwu highlighted the management’s determination to elevate the club’s stature in his New Year message to supporters.
“I am confident that together, we will continue to work towards achieving our goals and making Rivers United FC a force to be reckoned with in the football world,” Dr. Kpalukwu stated.
Rivers United, nicknamed the Pride of Rivers, currently sits in second place on the league table with 34 points from 19 matches.
The former league champions are gearing up for a crucial clash against Plateau United when the league resumes next month, as they continue their pursuit of silverware and continental recognition.
