The Competition Organization Committee of the Libyan Football Federation sent a letter to the heads of the regional subsidiary unions in the Eastern region regarding spectator attendance.
The message expressed gratitude for their efforts and collaboration in ensuring the success of competitions overseen by the Libyan Football Federation.
The statement went on to say, “Based on the letter from Mr. Faraj Mohamed Mansour Al-Abdali, Deputy Minister of Interior in the Libyan government, dated January 29, 2024.
With reference number 6-1-400, addressed to the President of the Libyan Football Federation, and the letter from the Chairman of the Sports Security Committee in the Eastern Region, dated January 29, 2024.
With reference number 82.1.6, addressed to the President of the Benghazi Subsidiary Union.
It requests the establishment of all matches of the Premier League and the First Division League in the Eastern region for the sports season 2023-2024 without the presence of spectators starting from January 30, 2024, due to the delayed receipt of the Ministry of Interior’s letter.”
The statement further emphasized, “We hope you adhere to the instructions received from the Deputy Minister of Interior in the Libyan government and the Chairman of the Sports Security Committee in the Eastern Region. Best wishes.”
The letter was signed by Ahmed Al-Basha, the head of the Competition Organization Committee.
