Renowned international referee Redouane Jaid officiated his final match yesterday, overseeing the semi-final of the Throne Cup for the 2022-2023 season between Moghreb Tetouan and Royal Armed Forces, marking the end of his distinguished career in officiating.
Jaid, who has spent 32 years traversing national and African football arenas, has been formally retired after a successful tenure.
Following the match’s conclusion, Jaid was presented with a bouquet of flowers alongside his family, symbolizing the significant path he has carved in football officiating. His career culminated in Agadir, a city he holds close to his heart.
Previously, referee Mohamed Nahih announced his retirement during the match between Royal Armed Forces and Moghreb Tetouan in the penultimate round of the professional league.
