France-born midfielder of Algerian descent, Maghnes Akliouche could move to Real Madrid if the club appoints Xabi Alonso as new manager.
The talented youngster has yet to attract a formal approach from the Spanish giants. However, that could change swiftly should Alonso succeed Carlo Ancelotti at the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to information gathered, Xabi Alonso, who is currently in charge of Bayer Leverkusen, is a strong admirer of Akliouche’s qualities.
The AS Monaco midfielder also admires the Bayer Leverkusen tactician and reportedly hopes to work under him in the future.
If Alonso takes over at Real Madrid, the 23-year-old midfielder is expected to emerge as one of his key transfer targets.
Already, Maghnes Akliouche has emerged as a transfer target of top clubs in Europe, including Manchester United.
This means that should Real Madrid target the midfielder, signing him won’t come easily as they will have to beat competition from the English giants.
