Real Madrid are re-evaluating their interest in Moroccan winger Abdellah Ouazane following a new round of medical tests that deemed the young talent fit for professional competition.

Initially, the transfer appeared to have collapsed due to medical concerns flagged during the Spanish club’s routine assessments.

However, recent examinations conducted in Amsterdam have revealed no health issues, overturning the earlier diagnosis and breathing new life into a deal that had seemingly been shelved.

The teenager, who has impressed at international youth level, was widely tipped to join the Spanish giants before medical doubts paused negotiations.

Now, with confirmation that he is “fit for high-level sport,” Real Madrid’s hierarchy is actively reviewing the updated medical reports and considering a return to the negotiating table.

Ouazane became a standout name during the U17 Africa Cup of Nations, where his performances caught the eye of several major European clubs.

Despite his youth, he has shown exceptional maturity on the pitch, combining technical skill with tactical intelligence. These qualities have made him a sought-after prospect across Europe.

The young winger’s preference to explore opportunities abroad led to the expiration of his contract with his former club earlier this summer.

He has since been in discussions with multiple teams across Spain, Germany, and Italy. Real Madrid were among the first to make contact, viewing Ouazane as a long-term project who could be integrated into their youth setup before progressing to senior ranks.

Although Madrid’s medical department had previously advised caution, the new clearance could prompt a swift change of course.

Discussions have reportedly resumed between the club and the player’s representatives, with terms of a potential multi-year contract already outlined prior to the medical setback.

Ouazane’s potential arrival at Madrid had included plans for a gradual integration into the club’s structure, beginning with the Juvenil A side and advancing toward Castilla, the club’s reserve team.

His older brother, also a footballer, was expected to join Real Madrid’s lower division team as part of the wider arrangement.

The Moroccan talent remains a free agent, making him an attractive option in a market where high-quality young players are increasingly rare and expensive.

Several other clubs, including sides in Germany’s Bundesliga and Italy’s Serie A, remain attentive to the developments, should Madrid ultimately decide not to proceed.

Still only 16, Ouazane’s blend of skill, speed, and vision has earned him comparisons to elite wide players across Europe.

His ability to operate both as a winger and central playmaker gives coaches tactical flexibility, while his international experience provides added maturity for his age.

Real Madrid’s decision in the coming days will determine whether one of Africa’s most exciting young talents begins his journey in Spain.

Should the club give the green light based on the updated medical findings, the door remains wide open for Ouazane to join a squad renowned for nurturing emerging talent.

As things stand, all eyes are on the Santiago Bernabéu as the Spanish giants weigh up the next steps in what has become one of the most intriguing transfer sagas of the summer.
