Real Madrid considers selling Camavinga to highest bidder

Real Madrid would be open to selling midfielder Eduardo Camavinga if a suitor meets their designated asking price, according to The Athletic.

Despite the club’s willingness to negotiate, the player himself has publicly made it entirely clear that he strongly desires to stay in Madrid.

Camavinga joined Real Madrid from Rennes on 31 August 2021, signing a six-year contract until 30 June 2027 before the club extended his deal on 7 November 2023 until 30 June 2029.

He was initially assigned squad number 25, later changed to 12 before switching to 6 in July 2024. The midfielder made his debut on 12 September 2021, substituting in during a 5–2 La Liga victory against Celta Vigo and scoring his first goal just six minutes after entering the pitch.

Camavinga noticeably struggled heavily with both consistent match fitness and overall form throughout what was a difficult 2025/2026 football season. The talented midfielder is currently being linked very strongly with a high-profile move to European Champions Paris Saint-Germain. However, the French international remains committed to his long-term contract at the Bernabéu.
