Ramy Rabia, the defender of the first football team of Al Ahly Club, expressed his immense joy at winning the Egypt Cup after defeating Zamalek with two goals in the final match.
Al Ahly clinched the Egypt Cup title after defeating Zamalek with a two-nil victory in the final match held at Al Oula Park Stadium, securing their 39th title in history.
In statements to the “Rakam 10” program with presenter Karim Ramzi, broadcasted on the first channel satellite TV, Ramy Rabia said: “Cup matches are always intense, but we managed to seal the title.”
He continued, “We played against a big team and exerted significant pressure to score an early goal, but we maintained the match’s result until the end.”
Ramy added, “I was confident of achieving victory during the regular time of the match.”
“There are no issues among the players, and ultimately, it’s football, and mutual respect prevails among us.
I always strive and work with focus, diligence, and dedication to perform well every time I participate,” he emphasized.
Ramy Rabia concluded his remarks by saying, “El Shenawy has his respect, and his appearance with me to lift the cup is a beautiful thing and an honor.
El Shenawy spoke to us between halves and asked us to remain calm and deliver the expected performance.
