Ramy Bensebaini faces uncertainty on Dortmund bench amid growing questions

Algerian international Ramy Bensebaini was conspicuously absent from the starting lineup of his team, Borussia Dortmund, which suffered a harsh defeat against Hoffenheim with a scoreline of 3-2.

Bensebaini has renewed his acquaintance with the experience of sitting on the bench for Borussia, prompting numerous questions and raising eyebrows, despite being considered a fundamental pillar earlier in the season.

Since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, Bensebaini has seen limited playing time for Dortmund, only featuring sporadically and primarily as a substitute.

The native of Constantine is going through a challenging period, finding himself excluded from the team’s plans, especially with the stellar performances of his Dutch counterpart, Owen Wijndal, in the left-back position.
