Ramadan Sobhi is back in the Pyramids FC squad for their big clash with Al-Ahli Jeddah in the second round of the Intercontinental Cup next Tuesday.

The forward, who sat out the game against Zed through injury, has been named by coach Krunoslav Jurcic and is expected to play a key role in Saudi Arabia.

Sobhi’s return comes as a boost for the Egyptian side, who will also welcome back Mostafa Fathy after his spell on the sidelines. However, defender Mahmoud Marei has been ruled out of the trip due to injury.

Jurcic announced a strong 27-man squad with veterans and fresh faces. Goalkeepers Ahmed El-Shenawy, Mahmoud Gad, Sherif Ekramy, and Ziad Haitham are all included. The defense features Ali Gabr, Ahmed Sami, Osama Galal, Karim Hafez, Mohamed El-Sheeb, Mohamed Hamdy, and Tarek Alaa.

In midfield, Ahmed Tawfik, Mahmoud Dunga, Muhand Lashin, Abdel Rahman Magdy, Ahmed Atef Qattah, Mostafa Zico, Everton Da Silva, Mohamed Reda Bobo, Mahmoud Zalaqa, Walid El Karti, Fathy, Sobhi, and Blati Toure provide depth.

Up front, Dodo El Gabbas, Youssef Obama, Fiston Mayele, and Marwan Hamdi will lead the attack.

The team will train in Jeddah on Sunday and Monday.
