Raja Casablanca are on the verge of completing the signing of Moroccan striker Mouhcine Bouriga.

The 25-year-old, a product of Renaissance Zemamra’s youth system, spent the previous season with Swiss side FC Sion, where he managed one goal in 22 appearances in the Super League.

Negotiations between Raja and FC Sion have reportedly progressed swiftly in recent days, with only final details left before the transfer is made official.

Bouriga has turned down a loan switch to Maghreb Fez and rejected a $400,000 loan offer from AS FAR, paving the way for Raja to step up their pursuit and secure his services.

The Casablanca giants are looking to strengthen their squad after a disappointing campaign in both the Botola Pro League and the Throne Cup, while Bouriga sees the move as a prime opportunity to rediscover his form and revive his career.
