Raja Casablanca has blocked Abdullah Khafifi from joining their arch-rivals, Wydad Casablanca.
Although Wydad initially reached an agreement to sign Khafifi, the deal ultimately collapsed.
Khafifi is a key part of Raja Casablanca’s squad, alongside Adam Nafati, Mohamed Boulkiot, Youssef Belamri, and Sofiane Bougrine. His potential transfer to Wydad had stirred controversy, with reports strongly linking him to the club.
However, according to Kooora, Raja is determined to keep Khafifi and has no intention of allowing him to join their rivals. The club plans to discuss a contract renewal once his outstanding financial dues are settled.
In the Moroccan Professional League standings, Raja Casablanca currently sits in seventh place with 33 points, while Wydad holds second place with 41 points.
