Raja Casablanca coach, Lassaad Chabbi, has demanded the signing of top-quality players after drawing with Wydad over the weekend.
In the Casablanca derby on Saturday, the much-anticipated game ended 1-1 at the Mohammed V Stadium.
Speaking after the game, the Tunisian gaffer described the scoreline as disappointing.
“A draw isn’t the result we were looking for, nor is it the result that would serve our interests to advance in the standings, of course,” Chabbi said.
“But it was a draw against Wydad, who mustered all their resources to achieve a comeback this season…so it remains an acceptable result.
“The truth must be told, Raja is a big club that deserves high-quality players. I made sure to do as much as I could to help this club that put faith in me.
“Raja fans stood by us, and they have a right to respond in kind, and to provide them with football that matches their ambitions. We promise them, God willing, that we will improve a lot,” he added.
