Raja Casablanca demands review of controversial refereeing decisions in RS Berkane clash

Raja Casablanca has formally lodged a protest with the National Technical Directorate of Arbitration over a disputed equalising goal conceded against Renaissance Berkane.

The club claims that the goal, scored following a free kick in the 67th minute, was awarded despite no foul occurring, according to television replays cited in their statement.

In a letter addressed to the head of the Directorate, Redouane Jiyed, Raja Casablanca detailed that the refereeing decision had a direct influence on the match outcome and expressed regret at the recurrence of controversial calls that, in their view, undermine the principles of fairness and the integrity of the competition.

The club also referenced prior complaints over refereeing, including decisions in its match against Ittihad Tanger, emphasising that these matters are raised through proper institutional channels while reserving the right to defend its interests according to established procedures.

Raja called for a thorough and urgent investigation into the refereeing incidents, stressing that transparency and credibility in the national championship must be preserved.

Meanwhile, Badr Banoun and his teammates are preparing to face Hassania Agadir in the 14th round of the professional league this Sunday. The Green Team aims to move past the controversy and focus on regaining balance and consistency on the field.
