Raja and Maghreb Fes football clubs have secured a financial grant totaling at least 100 million centimes each, following their success in reaching the semi-finals of the Throne Cup competition.
Raja reached this stage after triumphing over Hassania Agadir last Saturday with a scoreline of four goals to two. Meanwhile, Maghreb Fes overcame Maghreb Tetouan, progressing after extra time.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw at the end of regular time before Maghreb Fes clinched victory with a 4-2 scoreline.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has allocated a grant worth 250 million centimes to the winner of the Throne Cup, with 150 million centimes earmarked for the runner-up and 100 million centimes for the teams exiting the competition at the semi-final stage.
The quarter-final matches of the Throne Cup will continue next Wednesday, with Royal Armed Forces facing Olympique Dcheira at the Adrar Stadium in Agadir, while Olympique Khouribga hosts Mouloudia Oujda at the Phosphate Stadium.
