Radomiak eye Novara’s Italy-Ghana left-back Giuseppe Agyemang in potential free transfer move

Italian-Ghanaian left-back Giuseppe Agyemang of Novara is being linked with a move to Polish Ekstraklasa side Radomiak, with the 24-year-old defender potentially available as a free agent amid uncertainty over his contract status.

The Novara defender, who is valued at €275k on Transfermarkt, is the subject of growing speculation after reports in Italy and Poland noted Radomiak’s interest, though the probability of the deal remains officially listed as “?” and no agreement is in place. With his contract expiry at Novara not clearly defined, there is mounting talk that Agyemang could leave the Serie C – Girone A club without a transfer fee if terms are not renewed.

Born in Reggio Emilia on 26 April 2002, Agyemang holds both Italian and Ghanaian nationality and has developed as a modern, attack-minded full-back. Standing at 1.78m and left-footed, he has been deployed primarily as a defender at left-back for Novara, where he wears the number 72 shirt. He is currently listed with Novara FC as his national team/club designation, underlining his status as a domestic product of the Italian system.

Agyemang has been a regular feature for Novara in Serie C this season, operating in Italy’s third tier and attracting attention for his mobility down the flank. In a recent outing for Novara in Serie C – A against an unnamed opponent earlier this month, he featured in a tight match that underlined his defensive discipline and work-rate over 90 minutes, even as Novara’s attacking output remained limited.

Radomiak, established in Poland’s top flight, are thought to see Agyemang as a low-cost, high-upside option to deepen their defensive options if he does become a free agent. A move to the Ekstraklasa would represent a significant step up from Serie C and could provide a new platform for the dual-nationality defender to enhance his reputation and push his career onto a higher stage if the transfer materialises.
