Queens Park Rangers (QPR), facing relegation, is actively preparing for the Championship (second tier) and a potential quick return to the Premier League. The club’s leaders are in talks with Nigerian attacking midfielder Peter Odemwingie, who currently plays for West Bromwich Albion. Although Odemwingie was expected to join QPR earlier, his contract was not registered in time. The team, managed by former Tottenham coach Harry Redknapp, is looking to strengthen its squad for the challenges in the Championship. Meanwhile, Moroccan midfielder Adel Taarabt is set to leave QPR.
