Javier Pastore delivered a strong performance on Sunday evening against Monaco (1-1), notably scoring the only goal for PSG. However, not everyone is impressed by his performance. Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton, known for his outspoken nature, criticized Pastore’s presence on the field on his Twitter account.
Barton questioned why Pastore and Lucas Moura were starters instead of Ezequiel Lavezzi, stating that Pastore was “terrible.” He went on to say that Pastore wouldn’t be able to get him a beach ball if they were locked in a phone booth, calling it “bullshit” and suggesting that anyone who disagrees is lost.
Despite Barton’s criticism, Javier Pastore managed to open his account for the season in Ligue 1 with his goal against Monaco.
