Qatari outfit Al-Duhail SC are pushing to secure the services of Cameroonian defender Jean-Charles Castelletto.
The club aims to hijack an agreement between UAE club Al-Jazira and French club FC Nantes for Jean-Charles Castelletto.
This comes after Foot Mercato reported early in the week that the defender has already passed a medical examination ahead of his move to Al-Jazira.
Sources in the last 24 hours have disclosed that Al-Duhail have offered the player better personal terms and are looking to poach the defender.
Jean-Charles Castelletto, 30, started his career at AJ Auxerre and made his professional debut in April 2013.
He spent a lot of time at the club, making 58 appearances before moving to Belgian side Club Brugge.
He previously played for Royal Excel Mouscron, Red Star, and Stade Brestois FC.
He is now set to move this summer after a reported falling out with some officials at FC Nantes
