Egyptian outfit Pyramids FC have slapped $3 million valuation on DR Congo international Fiston Mayele amid growing transfer interest from several clubs.
Mayele is attracting strong attention from Saudi Pro League side Al Fateh, who are seeking reinforcements in attack ahead of the new season.
Currently, the enterprising attacker has one year left on his deal with Pyramids after the club activated an extension clause. However, the 30-year-old is understood to be eager for a new challenge, which has opened the door for potential exit talks.
Pyramids are open to selling the player, but only for $3 million, a fee deemed too high by Al-Fateh. Despite that, negotiations are underway to reduce the asking price to facilitate his signing this summer.
The Egyptian club is currently considering the offer, knowing the striker is unlikely to renew beyond next season and risk of losing him for free.
Mayele played a pivotal role, contributing to the Egyptian outfit’s historic CAF Champions League triumph. He scored nine goals to emerge as the topscorer in the 2024/25 campaign.
