Mohamed Al-Yamani, former star of Al-Ismaily, has criticized the Pyramids FC team following their substantial loss against Al-Masry with a scoreline of 3-0 in the Egyptian League Cup.
He emphasized that the team’s results do not match the substantial financial investments made in the club.
In a television statement, Al-Yamani stated, “Pyramids is a peculiar team, and what it achieves in terms of results does not reflect the significant financial expenditure on the players within the club.”
He continued, “The names present at Pyramids are capable of winning the league every season.
If such massive amounts were spent on a popular club like Al-Ismaily, there would be a significant difference.”
“Things in football do not work that way.
There is significant administrative stability within Pyramids from all aspects, but the fans have a major impact.
The fans are the first player, and we miss them a lot in the Egyptian League.”
He concluded, “Al-Masry’s fans are present with their team in every match to support and cheer for them, unlike Pyramids.
Are there old Pyramids fans? There are none.”
