Ahmed Zaher, the administrative director at Pyramids FC, has completed an immersion period with Portuguese club Benfica as part of the partnership agreement between the two clubs.
Speaking through his club’s media center, Zaher stated that during the immersion, he explored the scientific methods employed by Benfica, starting from the youth teams to the reserve team and all the way up to the first team.
He also held meetings with Benfica officials.
Zaher explained that during the immersion period, there was an exchange of ideas about Pyramids FC’s training system, nutrition plans, and preseason preparations for the upcoming season.
Additionally, he emphasized the importance of meticulous planning in preparing for the preseason and ensuring the team’s equipment is ready well before the start of the season.
He noted that he became familiar with the workings of Benfica, including their training schedules, which often take place in the mornings, mandatory breakfast gatherings for players before training sessions, as well as lectures and post-training lunch meals.
Zaher highlighted that Benfica allocates a recreational room for the first team and possesses a museum and a dedicated stadium for the youth teams.
He expressed gratitude to Pyramids FC’s management for granting him the opportunity to immerse himself with such a prestigious club like Benfica.
