Thiago Silva’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has been extended for another year, and his salary has been increased from 7.5 to 10 million euros net of taxes (excluding bonuses). PSG President Nasser al-Khelaifi expressed pride in extending Thiago’s contract, emphasizing the club’s commitment to building one of the most successful teams in Europe over the long term. Additionally, Marco Verratti’s salary had been increased earlier in the week.
There are speculations that Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s salary, currently at 14 million euros, will also see an increase to more than 16 million euros annually as part of a contract amendment.
