There are rumors circulating that Paul Pogba may join Paris Saint-Germain next summer. The 21-year-old Juventus midfielder’s potential move poses a threat to Marco Verratti’s position in the team.
Verratti expressed his feelings about the situation to Gazzetta dello Sport, stating, “It tires me a little because reading this, I have the impression that PSG doesn’t want me and thinks I’m less good than Pogba.” He continued, “While I feel the confidence of my leaders, my coach, and my teammates. If tomorrow they told me to leave, I would feel bad because I am at home here. But hey, we also still talk about Juve. Even if I have no desire to leave Paris, Juve has one of the most ambitious projects in Europe.”
Verratti clarified that while he doesn’t want to leave Paris, he would be open to joining Juventus if necessary.
