PSG plot swap deal to pry Swedish-Eritrean striker Alexander Isak from Newcastle
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly preparing a swap deal to secure the services of Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak during the summer transfer window.
The Swedish international of Eritrean descent has been in top form for Newcastle this season, playing a crucial role in their campaign and attracting interest from several top European clubs.
The 25-year-old has 23 goals in 33 games across all competitions.
Despite speculation surrounding his future, Newcastle remain adamant that Isak is not for sale, with discussions over a new contract postponed until the end of the season.
However, French outlet RMC reports that PSG are determined to test Newcastle’s resolve by offering a player-plus-cash deal for the striker.
The Ligue 1 champions are believed to be willing to include one of their high-profile forwards—Gonçalo Ramos, Randal Kolo Muani, or Marco Asensio—in the proposed exchange to tempt the Magpies into negotiations.
Newcastle have reportedly set a hefty £150 million valuation on Isak, underlining their reluctance to part ways with their star forward.
The club sees him as a key figure in their long-term plans and remains focused on strengthening the squad rather than selling their top talents.
