PSG eye Palace centre-back Jaydee Canvot in Ligue 1 transfer link

Jaydee Canvot, the French-Senegalese centre-back at Crystal Palace, has been linked with a move to Paris St-Germain in Ligue 1.

Canvot, 20, joined Palace from Toulouse on 1 September 2025 in a deal worth €23m and has a contract with the Premier League club until 30 June 2029. His current market value is listed at €28m.

The defender has started both of Palace’s Premier League matches in the 2026-27 season, playing the full 180 minutes without scoring or assisting. He made two Premier League appearances during his time at the club last season.

The reported interest would represent a return to France for Canvot, who developed at Toulouse after joining the club’s youth system from AS Bondy in 2021. He moved into Toulouse’s senior structure in 2024 before making the switch to Palace.

Canvot’s current deal gives Crystal Palace a long-term contractual position as PSG’s reported interest emerges. The defender remains a Palace player, with no transfer confirmed.
