PSG consider move for Lyon winger Malick Fofana

Belgian-Guinean winger Malick Fofana is the subject of a transfer link between Lyon and Paris St-Germain, with the Ligue 1 champions reportedly interested in the 21-year-old.

Fofana has started the 2026-27 campaign with two goals in six appearances for Lyon, featuring in both of the club’s Ligue 1 matches and four Champions League qualifying games.

The left winger joined Lyon from Belgian club Gent in January 2024 in a deal worth €19.5m. His current market value is listed at €30m, while his contract with Lyon runs until 30 June 2028.

Fofana, who was born in Aalst, has represented both Belgium and Guinea at international level. He has largely been used from the left side of attack at Lyon and has made four appearances in the club’s Champions League qualifying campaign this season.

The reported interest from PSG comes as Fofana remains under a long-term contract at Lyon, meaning any potential move would require an agreement between the two Ligue 1 clubs. No transfer has been confirmed, and Fofana remains a Lyon player.
